We make localhost shareable
localtunnel.in is a developer-tools company building secure, zero-configuration tunnels that connect locally running software to the public internet.
What we do
Every developer has hit the same wall: the thing you built runs perfectly on localhost,
but the moment someone else needs to see it — a client, a teammate, a webhook from a payment
provider — you're suddenly fighting routers, NAT, firewalls and deployments.
localtunnel.in removes that wall. Our client opens a single outbound, TLS-encrypted connection to our edge network, and in return you get a public HTTPS URL that forwards straight to the port on your machine. No port forwarding, no router configuration, no cloud deploy. One command, one URL.
Who it's for
We build for software developers and small teams: people testing webhook integrations, demoing work-in-progress to clients, debugging on real mobile devices, or reaching home-lab services securely from anywhere.
How we run the service
localtunnel.in runs on cloud infrastructure with edge points of presence chosen for low latency, including in India — a region most tunneling providers underserve. The platform is built as a multi-tenant SaaS: tunnels are isolated per account, authenticated by per-user tokens, and every connection between your machine and our edge is encrypted end-to-end with TLS.
What we believe
Developer time is expensive
A tool should earn its place in seconds. If it needs a manual, we've failed.
Secure by default
HTTPS everywhere, tokens over passwords, and abuse prevention baked in — not bolted on.
Quality over headcount
That's why signup is invite-only during beta: we grow the network only as fast as we can keep it fast and clean.
Honest pricing
A real free tier, clear paid plans, and no surprise charges. Beta users are grandfathered in.
